Job Details
A large healthcare organisation is looking to appoint a Fleet Compliance Manager who will report into the Head of Fleet/Fleet Engineer. Responsible for a team covering various sites.

Main Responsibilities:
- The post holder must be actively involved with Change Management and have managed a team of individuals;
- Ensuring fleet compliance is achieved in respect of servicing, MOT, RFL and LOLER data, as well as planned service and repairs are undertaken with the minimum of disruption to operations;
- Responsible for ensuring the Trust complies with external parameters relating to the servicing, MOT, RFL and LOLER data;
- Maintain VOR and vehicle availability reports daily and to utilise Bank Staff as and when required to achieve departmental requirements;
- Ensure that fleet servicing is planned and undertaken in a timely manner, meeting the organisation requirements and maintaining vehicle availability to operations;
- Working in close liaison with the Workshops and Supervisors to ensure any fleet defects are reported and any repairs are actioned and booked in at the earliest opportunity;
- Work towards current policies and procedures and to limit unavailability of the vehicle to operations;
- Manage difficult conversations with staff members, clients and customers.
- City &Guilds in Vehicle Engineering, or relevant equivalent experience gained within a vehicle maintenance environment;
- C&G in Vehicle Accident Repair, or equivalent relevant experience;
- Certificate of Professional Competency, Goods or Public Service Vehicles;
- Knowledge of good Fleet Management;
- Knowledge of Accident Management and Repair Practices;
- Competent in using Microsoft Office (email/word/excel);
- Experience running a compliant Fleet of up-to 1000 vehicles, in respect of service planning and defect recording
- Managed a Fleet team across multiple sites;
- Ensure staff cover is set to meet operational demands;
- Relevant experience managing staff directly and through managers and supervisors.
