We have a bold mission: to have a world without institutions and orphanages by 2050. Research shows the dramatic harm that institutional care causes to children and the proven benefits of the alternatives: community and family care. Lumos tackles the root causes of family separation – poverty, trafficking and discrimination – and transforms care systems around the world. Main responsibilities: -

• To oversee the effective operation of Lumos’ head office.
• Lead the effective operation of all elements of IT services across Lumos globally.
• Acting as Lumos’ Health and Safety Compliance Officer in the UK.
• Acting as the Global Security & Safety Focal Point (SSFP).
• Manage the Operations team members, including; recruitment, training, professional development and the setting of objectives.
• Lead the budgeting and planning process for the Operations team.
• Manage the delivery of travel services to staff globally across Lumos’ international offices.
• Manage the central repository for Lumos’ operating policies and procedures

You will: -

• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be highly organised, with an aptitude in planning effectively to meet deadlines, and an ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time,
• Have strong financial and commercial understanding of managing large contracts and budgets.
• Have office services, building, safety and security management experience.
• Have experience of leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams.
