My client is a global leader in integrated Facilities Management with an established list of national & global clients. They are currently looking to recruit an Technical Services Manager with a Mechanical bias for a Global Investment Bank based in City of London. The role will be split between the technical delivery and delivery small works projects ranging between, £10k-£100k. The portfolio is mainly comprised of Dealer floor Critical Environments, Office Environments, IT Critical Environments and satellite support offices within several central London locations, and most importantly Iconic London headquarters in the City.

Working within a team of several other managers, the individual will have specific responsibility for the management, delivery and administration of small to medium sized technical project whilst aiding in the core delivery function of the technical team listed below. The role will ensure the delivery of client focused service, innovation at both a strategic and day-to-day level with specific responsibility for service excellence. The individual should have a proven engineering management background with at least 5 years' experience at management level and have the confidence and credibility to effectively manage client expectations and provide an efficient and cost effective service

The individual must possess the drive and self-motivation to work independently, along with excellent communication skills necessary to operate effectively within the broader department and business as a whole. The Technical Manager will work in a challenging, demanding and continually changing environment. The individual will need to demonstrate a proven track record of planning and execution of technical engineering. The individual must possess recognised electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications and should demonstrate the ability to manage and lead a team and liaise closely with other divisions as required.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified mechanical engineer with extensive experience of technical delivery within critical environments, ideally Banking or Data Centres. You will have experience of delivering small works projects and be able to handle multiple projects ranging between, £10k-£100k simultaneously.
You will be Smart & presentable, able to write reports and be able to communicate effectively with clients.
