My client is a private investment company with a large portfolio of commercial properties in and around London. Due to expansion, we are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to take responsibility for a portfolio of multi tenanted properties.
Based in North London with regular travel around London, you will report to the Property Manager and work alongside a team of FM's. My client has an excellent internal support structure with separate helpdesk, H&S team, service charge specialists and project teams.
You will be responsible for managing the day to day operations for a large portfolio including; tenant liaison, contractor management, minor projects, health & safety compliance and preparation and management of the annual service charge budgets. Additionally, you will manage any on site staff.
The successful candidate will have a proven background in managing large property portfolios, ideally within a property management environment. Preferably you will be IOSH or NEBOSH qualified, with a solid background in preparing/managing service charge budgets. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
