Beach Baker is delighted to be working with a market leader in the Property Consultancy world in their search for Building Manger. We are seeking a candidate to take ownership of a large, brand new, multi tenanted commercial building in Birmingham city centre.
You will be responsible for delivering all FM operations and financial management for the site, whilst working with the client and contractors to ensure best practice. You will take this property through mobilisation and will be accountable to setting the operational and compliance policies. We are looking for a candidate to coordinator with the building owners to develop innovative ideas to enhance the customer/tenant experience. You will also be responsible for the defect process and tenant fit outs and therefore a strong technical background is required.
The successful candidate will have previous, single site, commercial facilities management experience, ideally having worked for the landlord before. You must have experience of new builds and mobilisation with a proven background in setting up operations manuals/building systems. You will have a strong service charge budget background, H&S qualified with excellent relationship building skills.
This is a total FM role for a flagship site, allowing the successful candidate to really make a difference. The role would suit a confident character with a background in new builds.
