Our large public sector client are requiring a client side facilities manager in order to oversee the operational deliver of hard fm contracts across the Manchester and NW region. Experience in the education, healthcare, or local authority sectors is preferable.
Michael Page are partnered with a large public sector body in order to find a suitable Facilities Manager with a technical hard facilities background in order to fill this position.
Your role will be to lead on the facilities function across the region and ensure the operational deliver of the hard fm contract.
You will ensure best within the facilities management function, including the need negotiate with suppliers on the establishment of new contracts.
You will monitor the delivery of contractual deliverable and obligations within third party contracts.
You will manage and lead the PPM and reactive maintance help desk in conjunction with operational management for the hard services contracts, and that agreed actions are progressed.
- Hard facilities and technical background - required
- 5+yrs in facilities management
- NEBOSH or equivalent
- BIFM or equivalent
Proven experience of providing financial, contractual or procurement support to senior management within a Facilities Management environment.
Experience of contract negotiation
Proven track record of budgetary planning
