The size and complexity of Windsor Castle and its surrounding estate will present you with some truly fascinating challenges.

Joining our professional and expert in-house team, you’ll provide an efficient and effective mechanical maintenance service across the Windsor Estate.

You’ll carry out a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance. Checking machinery, locating faults and regularly servicing our systems, you’ll play an essential part in the upkeep of Windsor Castle.

You'll carry out mechanical repairs and minor installations, as well as supervising contractors on site, and you’ll ensure faultless accuracy and compliance is achieved in all that you do.

Whether you’re preparing for a function or responding to a call out, you’ll be challenged to provide exceptional customer service to a range of people.

But maintenance is only half the story. With every new project, you'll help modernise our systems and find new ways to be more efficient for the future.

And every day, you'll work as part of the team who, together, deliver results that are vital to the continued running of our historic and world famous buildings.

Experience working in Listed Buildings would also be an advantage but is not essential.

It’s important that you’re a logical and innovative problem solver, able to understand key mechanical issues and investigate solutions.

Organised, with a logical and methodical approach to work, you're able to manage a busy workload and deliver results, even when the pressure is on.

Knowledge of CAFM and helpdesk systems is also desired, as is a basic working knowledge of the Microsoft Office.

What's more, you’re a great communicator and team player, able to build positive relationships with colleagues and external contractors alike.

And with your 'can do' attitude, you'll work collaboratively with colleagues across functional and geographical boundaries to deliver exceptional customer service.

As you will working across a number of locations and buildings, a full UK driving licence will be essential.

Above all, you clearly take care and pride in your work. Your flexible approach means you pro-actively get involved and enjoy the varied, unusual workload that listed buildings entail.
