My client is a well established housing association in London with a strong track record in delivering large community focused projects in the London and Greater London areas.
They have a very large portfolio of properties across London and the South East of England and are continuing to grow this portfolio.
This role has been created through an internal promotion, showing the potential to develop and move up the ladder within this business.
Description
Facilities Manager - Established Housing Association
The main requirements for this role include:
- Overseeing the in-house facilities help desk - making sure the function achieves requirements in terms of reactive and planned tasks
- Overseeing the soft services function ensuring a top class service is offered by the Front of House team and soft service contract providers
- Monitoring the department's performance against SLAs and KPIs using data from the CAFM system - presenting reports to the senior management team on a weekly basis
- Monitoring department spends against budgets and targets with associated reporting of figures on a monthly basis
- Coordinating the training of new and existing staff
- Acting as the department sustainability lead, coordinating improvements and activity across the portfolio
- Supporting department wide projects, ensuring they meet set time lines
- Responsible for incident management and control duties in response to a disaster recovery event and escalate decisions as appropriate
Profile
Facilities Manager - Established Housing Association
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate the following skills or attributes:
- Membership to IWFM is desired
- Strong stakeholder management experience / ability
- Experience in directly managing staff and wider teams
- Planning of financial budgets and then experience of managing those budgets
- Providing clear reviews on project status, SLA performance and management of contracts
- Showing a high level of communication with articulate approach
- Management of facilities management contracts including both internal and external
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office in Facilities
