The Company

I am searching for a talented Property Manager to join a leading Property Consultancy firm that operates over the South East of England and boasts many blue-chip clients. They cover all sectors of the Property Management industry; industrial, retail, commercial, residential and mixed-use. They are a regional firm with a proud history that offers a lovely working environment with first-class offices over the South East of England.

The Role

My client is seeking a Residential Property Manager to look after several buildings in the East London area. Based in Stratford, you will be responsible for the management of a residential portfolio for a key client. Management of tenancies, management of maintenance issues, tenant check-ins, tenancy checkouts and full management of Deposit. You will be joining a vibrant team in a growing business with a friendly and professional culture.

Duties will include:

  • Promptly respond to communications from landlords and residents. Instruction, monitoring, and liaison with regular maintenance contractors.
  • Carry out Property Inspections when due (follow through with issues found during inspection). - Organize Gas Safety Certificates, Cylinder Services, and Energy Performance Certificates as required- Data input/upkeep for annual assessments (GSC, EPC, PAT)
  • Initiate formal written claim. Obtain comparative quotes for damage.
  • Coordinate replacement furniture/fittings as authorised during the tenancy and acquisition of keys/fobs/remotes/permits.
  • Administer management keys to authorised contractors for maintenance purposes.
  • Co-ordinate the deposit release process at the end of a tenancy
  • Liaise with the inventory company and/or negotiator in arranging works prior to and after the vacate date; end of tenancy cleans where required.

  • Minimum 3 years prior experience in a similar role.

    The available salary is £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience, plus a generous, negotiable package.
