Opportunity to lead compliance, H&S and Environmental changes within a fast growing Service Provider managing a key account.
Management of unique, dynamic and complex stakeholders is key to this role. The selected individual will need to show top level communication skills to be considered for this role.
Client Details
My client is a fast growing service provider located in Central London. They have a number of key contracts with large clients both in central London and greater London. Some of these clients involve projects in a variety of environments including shopping centres, listed buildings, commercial, retail and residential developments.
Description
SHEQ Compliance Manager - Service Provider flagship account
The main responsibilities for this role includes:
- To manage and deliver the compliance to OHSAS 45001, 14001 and 9001 standards
- To be able to run projects and operate independently within the confines set by management
- To review and evaluate existing policies, procedures, risk assessments and safe systems of work including implementation of said policies
- Providing both internal and external support with regards to SHEQ issues on a daily basis
- Having overall accountability for the delivery of services
- Analyse performance and adherence to company standards
- Establish and maintain key client, colleagues and stakeholder relationships to ensure client expectations are achieved and exceeded
- Responsibility for operating site H&S Management system ensuring total compliance is maintained at all times
- Conducting and supporting accident investigations, investigating serious injuries and recommending measures to prevent re-occurrence
- Accountable for department financial performance and risk management
Profile
SHEQ Compliance Manager - Service Provider flagship account
The selected candidate for this role will ideally be able to demonstrate the following skills / attributes:
- Managerial experience within Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental departments
- Experience working in FM in a mixed-use portfolio
- Ideally some qualification in a technical discipline or with a technical specialist background
- To have previously been responsible for developing and implementing policy and processes
- Delivering high levels of self-accountability and committed to completing tasks set out / projects
- Experience in a client facing position with high level interactions at a senior management level
- Management of supply chain and budgets
- Managing large or capital projects
- Membership to MBIFM / NEBOSH / IOSH (Managing Safely)
