Our client, a large independent property management firm, are currently recruiting an Assistant Facilities Manager in Leeds City Centre to work in a very prestigious building. The aim of the role is to assist the Facilities Manager in delivering high standard of customer service and Health, Safety and Facilities Management within a large corporate building.

The main responsibilities will include:

- Assist in the management and on-going monitoring of all Hard and Soft services delivered on site to ensure effective performance delivery. Establishing planned preventative maintenance programmes where none exist.

- To assist with the procurement and placement of goods and services in line with the departmental procedures using purchase orders and contracts as appropriate.

 

- To manage and identify and collate requests for minor works on site and subsequently manage the implementation and completion of works to the highest standards.

- Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environmental management systems are in place, maintained and monitored and that issues identified or reported are managed in line with departmental procedures.

- Assist the Facilities Manager & Management Surveyors/Partners in the production and on-going management of Service Charge budgets for all sites

To ensure any service/ maintenance issues receive attention and are resolved within acceptable time parameters and all interested parties are kept fully advised as well and been done to the correct Health & Safety standards.

- To achieve and maintain the departments OHSAS 18001 objectives for health and safety management and performance.

 The ideal candidate will have the necessary experience, skills and qualifications to provide the effective and efficient delivery of Facilities Management, Services and Projects within a large corporate building. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will be a strong communicator with a drive to deliver excellent customer service. 

The hours for the role are 6.30am 12.30pm (30 hours per week) and our client is offering a salary of £22,000 plus bonus scheme and other benefits.
