Sustainability Manager

£45,259 to £53,355 per annum (inclusive of London weighting) + competitive benefits

Reporting to the Director of Sustainability, the Sustainability Manager shares responsibility for championing sustainability and supporting the university to embed sustainability across all its activities.

The role holder will take the lead in agreed areas to support operational implementation of the Sustainability Strategy which will include the overall environmental management system but also developing and driving specific initiatives focusing on areas such as sustainable food, waste, and net zero carbon.

The successful candidate will possess gravitas and credibility with excellent communication skills. You will be adept at operating across a multi-tier organisation with a track record in a similar collaborative and collegial environment. The role will suit individuals who understand sustainability in its holistic sense and how this can be fully embedded in all university activities.
