Our client, a not for profit body based out of Birmingham have instructed us to assist with the recruitment of an Estates & Facilities Manager.

Our client is a not for profit body based out of Birmingham.
Description
The Estates & Facilities Manager will work closely with and report into the Chief Executive with a brief to run and manage the estates function. This will include the following:
- Overseeing all aspects of hard & soft services across the estate
- Management of third party contracts and contractors
- Planning and delivering on an annual maintenance programme
- Ensuring all aspects of the estate are fully compliant in line with statutory obligations
- Ensuring the estate is fully functional and maintained to a good standard at all times
- Leading on all CAPEX projects which will range from new building works through to refurbs and fit outs of the existing estate
- Line management of all personnel within the estates team
Profile
To be considered for this role, applicants will need to demonstrate the following criteria:
- Experienced with overseeing both hard & soft services
- Proven experience in a managerial position involving direct line management of a team
- Proven track record of project management work (a PM qualification would be desirable)
- Confident and credible with communicating with multiple stakeholders and have the ability to influence
It would be very advantageous to hold membership/qualification with (or at least be working towards it) RICS/CIOB.
The role is based out of Birmingham but covers the wider Midlands region and applicants must be able to travel across this region on a regular basis.
