Facilities Assistant

Our client is a leading, independent, property consultancy who currently have a requirement for an experienced Facilities Assistant in Stockport.

Reporting to the Regional Facilities Manager and based at a large, commercial, multi tenanted property in the heart of Stockport, you will be responsible for all day to day operational running of the site.

The key focus of the role will be on providing high standards of service delivery across all aspects of facilities management demands of the tenants.

Responsibilities;

• Contractor management (Hard and Soft Services) and management of permits
• Ensure H&S compliance
• Assist with procurement and tendering process
• Act as first point of contact for all tenants
• Oversee planned maintenance programmes and audits
• Issue parking tickets

The successful candidate will be a client facing individual with basic knowledge of H&S legislation. Previous experience of working within a Facilities Management role, ideally within a multi tenanted commercial building would be ideal. The preferred candidate will be IOSH qualified with a SIA licence (or ths willingness to obtain).

This is a stand-alone role and will suit a confident, customer services focused individual. My client will provide training where necessary.
