Job Details
My client is an established International Technology company who have operated in the UK for over 50 years.
As a result of sustained growth they require a Facilities Project Manager / Maintenance Manager to join the small focused property team.
Role
- Plan, arrange and manage facilities upgrade and re-configuration projects from an established design brief to completion and handover of project.
- Creation of project specific procurement specifications from the design briefs
- Control of external contractors
- Engage and communicate project intent and timelines to internal stakeholders
- Work closely with other internal departments to fulfil the design brief
- Fulfil project requirements on time and on budget
- Collate all necessary operating and maintenance documentation to support the wider facilities team
The Person
- Knowledge of internal building construction techniques
- Understanding of 2D C.A.D packages such as AutoCAD
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project and the Microsoft office suite
- Understanding of Project management techniques
- Knowledge and understanding of building regulations
- IOSH Managing safety or NEBOSH Level 2 Health and Safety at work as a minimum
