Energy Systems Engineer

£46,762 - £56,526 per annum plus excellent benefits

The role of Energy Systems Engineer is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled and motivated team with a goal to improve the energy performance of the organisation, reduce carbon emissions and reduce operational expenditure though a wide variety and range of measures.

You will ensure the College continually improves its energy performance, this will be through a variety of means including applying sound engineering principles to energy reduction intervention measures, managing the energy database, and being part of a team advising on infrastructure projects and development.

We are seeking an energy management professional that has significant experience of working with energy databases/systems and reporting on energy data whilst also have experience and a keen interest in identifying and delivering energy saving projects and interventions.  Ideally candidates will have worked across a large-scale and diverse estates and infrastructure portfolio and it is anticipated that prospective candidates will have appropriate industry background in energy engineering/management together with relevant professional qualification.

We are seeking highly motivated, positive and collaborative individuals to join a highly successful multi-disciplinary engineering, energy and environment team and it is anticipated that you will have the excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to successfully undertake this key role.  The role offers a great career development opportunity for an energy engineering professional to work across a large-scale and incredibly diverse estate and infrastructure portfolio.
