My client is a global privately owned financial institution. They provide a range of financial services for families, individuals and governments, worldwide. They employ over 2,500 people across 50 offices around the world. They are currently looking to recruit a Building Services Technician to join the team based in Cannon Street. The role will be based the bespoke UK headquarters building of circa 180,000 sq. ft.

The role requires an Electrical Engineer with Multi-skilled experience who can undertake all aspects of electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance. The candidate will be working in a modern high-rise city building and required to work on a wide variety of modern complex plant. You will be part of a spilt day shift as well as be part of a call out rota 1 in 6/7 and will be required to work overtime. You will have maintenance experience with Electrical distribution system small power, lighting, fire detection system, BMS system, UPS systems and air conditioning and sprinklers.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrical engineer with a 17th/18th edition and ideally be a time served apprentice. You will have extensive experience in building services and be able to demonstrate good electrical knowledge and a firm understanding of Fire Detection systems, Sprinkler Systems Heating & ventilation, Water supply, Sanitation, Wet Cooling Towers. You will have good knowledge of Health & Safety and the ability to produce risk assessments and permits to work. You will hard-working and willing to learn and develop with the company and always prepared to go the extra mile.
