The successful candidate will need to support and facilitate the initial move of the clients news office which Will be based in the Hampshire area. In addition they need to ensure a safe and creative environment in line with the clients health and safety procedures.

Description
The client is looking to bring a facilities manager to facilitate a move of a new office building.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Implement a long term strategy for building maintenance in order of priority and within budget.
- Work with IT to ensure all IT data storage / equipment is in order.
- Proactively ensure all HS+S standards are met in accordance to group policy.
- Ensure facilities are safe, meet all legal requirements and meet the needs of the business on a day to day basis i.e. Fire & First Aid requirements.
- Ensure all equipment is inspected and audited to meet all Group and legal requirements.
- Ensure effective and relevant processes and procedures are applied and documented including; risk assessments, procedural documents,inspections, MIDAS, audits and reviews of performance.
- To ensure contractors meet their HS&E responsibilities.
- Drive environmental initiatives to meet Group and legal requirements.
- Understand risk assessments within own workplace and ensure reporting of any new risks to appropriate line manager.
Profile
Ideal attributes include:
- Evidence of building and maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholders.
- Confident to engage and challenge senior stakeholders on change, process and policies.
- Attention to detail with a proactive approach to obtaining appropriate supporting evidence.
- Strong negotiation skills to support with ongoing service contracts i.e. air conditioning, lift servicing etc.
