The Asset, Life cycle and Compliance Manager will lead a small team, ensuring that best in practice asset management and compliance systems are embedded within the trust.
Whilst not essential, this person will ideally come from an NHS background and will be able to display the following attributes:
- Self-motivation
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- A desire to embed new ways of working and a new asset management and compliance culture within the department
- Coach, mentor and lead staff within the directorate to follow new processes and ways of working
- Strong report writing capabilities
Accountabilities:
- To produce, maintain and embed an asset management strategy, policies and local procedures
- To own and maintain the trust wide Estates asset register
- To ensure all asset data is held within the trusts CAFM system and assets are being subject to maintenance
- To audit and report on statutory compliance status, working with site teams to manage the close out of findings in a timely manner
- Produce and maintain a trust wide M&E Life cycle database to inform future capital plans and financial forecasting and budgeting
- To work within all Trust policies and Procedures with specific reference to the Health and Safety at Work Act.
