My client is a leading service provider who are looking for a HSEQ advisor to join their facilities division. The company are constantly growing and are always looking to hire the best people. The successful candidate will be required to visit multiple contracts around the Bedfordshire - Oxfordshire area and London. The right candidate will need to initiate and maintain positive measures to raise health & safety standards.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

Be aware of the company targets for Health & Safety performance and the strategy to achieve them.

Understands the contractual arrangements in relation to health and safety on the project and assist the project team to work within them.

Monitor Health & Safety targets, including monitoring the results and close out of inspections, audits, scores and NCR's

Keep aware of any changes to Health & Safety legislation, or other standards & procedures affecting health & safety, Liaise with the H&S team to ensure changes are understood and implemented.

Advising employees at all operational levels of the health and safety systems and standards required
Take the lead in promoting matters relating to Health & Safety on the projects under their control.

Encourage and motivate all personnel on site to be safe to themselves and safe to others.

Profile

Have knowledge of Health and Safety in relation to activities being undertaken within the business

Relevant experience of working in Facilities Management H&S role

Experience of working on construction/refurb projects required

Minimum Nebosh General or Construction Certificate.
