Maintenance Manager (fixed term)

ROSL is a unique not-for-profit, private members organisation. Since 1910 ROSL has embraced a multi-cultural membership; bringing people together from around the world to meet, socialise and foster an interest in the Commonwealth. This is being realised though our Arts programme which works with young classical musicians and visual artists and our humanitarian programme of education and enterprise projects. Members of ROSL, in turn, benefit from being part of an organisation that truly makes a difference to people’s lives, while enjoying the comforts of our historic Grade 1 Listed clubhouse in central London that provides a quality home-away-from-home.

With an ambitious 5 year plan, the ROSL is now looking to bring on board an experienced Maintenance Manager who will oversee the mobilisation and implementation period of recently procured maintenance contractors. Reporting to the Head of Estates and Projects, you will be the lead on all day to day maintenance matters and reactive requests throughout the Club that incorporates 83 bedrooms, 2 restaurants, 7 meeting and function rooms and a garden area.

With a proven track record of running successful maintenance teams, you will ensure that work is correctly prioritised and delivered to plan, ensuring value for money and compliance. In addition applicants will have excellent stakeholder management skills. Performance management experience of both internal co-workers and external contractors is paramount as well as a drive to ensure exemplary standards of finish and workmanship.

The successful candidate will have as a bare minimum an HNC in engineering and be IOSH qualified.

The post is a fixed term role (6 months).
