Job Details

A large healthcare organisation is looking to appoint a senior Health and Safety professional, candidate must have proven experience within a healthcare setting/environment. 

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead on all Health and Safety matters for the organisation, within the guidelines and legal frameworks set out;
  • Understand the impact of commissioning new services, what this means in relation to Health and Safety for that environment;
  • Thorough working practice and understanding of CQC regulations and how Health and Safety relates to a healthcare environment/setting;
  • Provide specialist advice, instruction and competency-based training to all levels of staff across the organisation;
  • Develop and deliver high quality and relevant Health and Safety training literature;
  • Responsible for the provision and delivery of statutory and mandatory Health and Safety training;
  • Actively participate, demonstrate and problem solve Health and Safety issues related to both patient and non-patient risks;
A successful candidate will have:
  • Must have formal Health and Safety qualification;
  • Experience working within a healthcare setting;
  • Available on a part time basis, the client is looking for 2 days per week.
