Facilities Manager who is hands on in approach with experience in an FM role in a Trust, whether it be in the Education or NHS Space
Client Details
An Education Trust that is expanding giving the Facilities Manager (brand new role) , full responsibility to manage and direct FM services in an operational and strategic way and managing both an in-house and outsourced team.
Description
- Primary point of contact for Facilities Management Services
- Lead direct and support of the in-house team and outsourced services
- Total Facilities Management, ensuring day to day delivery of FM directly or through contracted services
- Maintain health, safety and security
- Maintain the fabric of any leased-out premises
- Ensure compliance and data protection
- Provision of technical support and minor project delivery
- Direct liaison and management for our of hours and outsourced external/commercial and community lettings
- Budget responsibility
- Direct reporting to the School Business Manager and liaison with Teaching Staff and Stakeholders
Profile
- Education/NHS Trust experience
- NEBOSH
- Member of the IWFM or similar
- Experience of managing outsourced facilities management services and/or co-ordinating contractors
- Proven budget and financial management
- Experience with statutory compliance including fire, water, asbestos etc.
- Experience in leading outsourced FM service delivery ensuring deadlines, KPI's and SLA's are adhered to
- Enhanced DBS clearance
