M&E Service Manager required for a D&B contractor in North Hampshire


A prestigious design & build contractor specialising in cleanrooms, laboratories and other controlled environments for a number of specialist clients across a range of sectors.

Due to an increase in workload they are looking to recruit a M&E Service Manager to be based from their North Hampshire office.

This role will be customer facing and the applicant will have a broad understanding on how to build and maintain a profitable well-run business. The focus will be securing new clients who are looking for a HVAC solution, selling the service provided by T-Squared. Working alongside account managers to build and manage customer and employee relationships.

Financial

  • Responsibility for sales forecast and budget control through Field Service Management (FSM) system
  • To prepare short and long-term budgets and estimates for planned preventative maintenance (PPM), Projects and Small Works
  • Liaise with account managers to develop and maintain accurate account procedures for the implementation, control and monitoring of the agreed annual budget Ensure all costs are accounted for and invoiced through FSM


Responsibility

  • Accountability and responsibility for all sales and workload.
  • Ability to modify style and approach according to objectives, targets and situations
  • Perform on site presentation's and recommend customer-based solution's
  • Identify and increase sales through business development of new customers
  • Understand the sales process for Service Management Contracts and Small Works/Project
  • Prepare and plan all workload through the central helpdesk
  • Identify opportunities for PPM contracts, plant replacement, small works and projects
  • To create an environment for the continuous improvement of business processes
  • A determination to succeed with drive and ambition

Personal

  • Qualified to HNC/HND or equivalent City and Guilds in an Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services discipline
  • 10 + years' experience in a related industry
  • A detailed knowledge of building services, electrical and mechanical services
  • ·Computer literacy in full suite of Microsoft office packages and experience of operating Preventative
  • Planned Maintenance Systems
  • Has clean full driving license

  • Ability to plan every Sales interview/meeting effectively, securing appointments using a structured approach and matching customer's needs to win profitable business
  • Ability to be understood, understand others and communicate well together to create effective business relationships
  • Ability to use questioning skills to uncover customer requirements and identify sales opportunities Ability to anticipate and identify problems and implement workable solutions by collecting, analysing and applying relevant information
  • Ability to apply knowledge of industry, markets, technology and competition to foresee business opportunities to increase profitable growth
  • Understand that the accuracy of sales figures impacts the whole business.
  • Ability to develop accurate forecasts, achieve targets and report honestly and meaningfully

The ideal candidate will have

  • Knowledge of the HVAC industry
  • HVAC contracting experience
  • Previous experience in bringing on PPM contracts, small projects/works, refurbs
  • Experience of bringing on new customers
