About Us

St Mary’s University location is hard to beat. The University has all the advantages of a great London location along with the peace of a beautiful self-contained campus in the safe, leafy suburb of Strawberry Hill. Split across four campuses the estate comprises of a mixture of modern buildings and historic buildings. Over the last few years they have made considerable investment in the campus; including the delivery of a state-of-the-art sports centre, which hosted a number of athletes in the 2012 Olympic Games and a new library.


Reporting to the Head of Campus Services the Cleaning Services Manager will be responsible for the effective and efficient operational management of the campus’ cleaning services across the non-residential buildings, residential buildings, and all external areas.

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of a customer focussed and high standard cleaning and grounds maintenance service. Responsibility of developing and monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), in alignment with customer and stakeholder requirements.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in the management of a wide range of cleaning services and housekeeping across a similar diverse multi-site portfolio. You will hold a related cleaning qualification, ideally BICS or equivalent and an IOSH certificate. You will have demonstrable success in the delivery of best in class services with strong people management skills. The role will suit cleaning professionals who enjoy taking real ownership for their department.
