Client side - Regional Project / Building Surveyor - Leisure

My client is an award winning pub operator with an enviable and expansive portfolio.

The Role

You will maintain all the company properties, whilst working within agreed company budgets in planning, execution and supervision of maintenance work, repair and project work within the specific geographic patch.

The role:

• supporting the operations side of the business to ensure excellent maintenance of our pubs
• responsible for managing all aspects of projects within the property team disciplines
• supporting the contractor performance management team in managing the regional contractors and consultants used in our estate
• developing a rolling planned maintenance and refurbishment programme for each of the pubs within your property skill set
• working in conjunction with the rest of the property team to help in achieving the property department`s five-year objectives
• delivering agreed reinvestment projects on time, on budget and to the required standard
• ensuring that we follow H&S guidelines at all times and that we operate in a safe and legal manner
• taking a proactive approach in helping to shape our property maintenance

What we’re looking for

• You will be a team player, but also comfortable working with remote supervision / support infrastructure and demonstrate excellent working knowledge of building and Health and Safety legislation.
• Ideally professional qualified you will possess a commercial approach, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• A bright and credible professional, you’ll already have a role with a strong customer-led approach and an imaginative, forward-thinking mind-set.
