The Senior FM role will be titled Campus Service Manager responsible for managing all FM activates (hard and soft services) through an “in – house” team of operatives and supervisors at Kingston University campus at Penrhyn Road. The role will be part of team of three Campus Service Managers each based at different campuses who will support the campus centric model recently introduced into Kingston University to improve the student experience. 

The Penryn Road campus is the largest campus within the Kingston University estate and includes the soon to be opened prestigious state of the art Town House academic building which will greatly the enhance the Kingston University estate offer at Penrhyn Road.

Purpose: 

The purpose of the role is to champion the development and delivery of consistent, high levels of customer service across a University campus, delivering and maintaining fit for purpose, functionally suitable, safe, legislatively compliant facilities and services in support of University strategies that positively impact the staff, student and visitor experience.

This is a new role designed to ensure that service delivery to customers is placed at the centre of all we do. As a member of the KUSCO Management Team, the post holder will be the custodian of Facilities relationships with external customers (faculties). The post holder will need to be a strong communicator at all levels, gain a full understanding of the University’s Corporate Strategy, and all faculty plans, and be able to articulate how the KUSCO Strategy supports the implementation of corporate objectives.

The post holder will also be able to articulate what other professional roles and teams in KUSCO (particularly within the Customer Service Centre) contribute to the work of the faculties and to ensure appropriate access to those resources as required. The post holder will participate in the strategic planning, communication, implementation and budgeting of initiatives in addition to problem solving and responsibility for service delivery as assigned including providing leadership to the day to day operations of each team, while maintaining focus on the departmental and University wide strategic goals.
