University Partnerships Programme (UPP) is the leading provider of on-campus student accommodation infrastructure and support services in the UK. Reporting to the General Manager, the Deputy General Manager will be fully accountable for the soft services across our 1200 beds that we operate on behalf of the University of London. You will be responsible for delivering services to ensure continuous improvement, which will enhance the student experience; and leading our reception, and cleaning teams in driving an exceptional customer service. The teams are the main point of contact for students and are responsible for a number of duties including hall access, managing post, housekeeping, and other queries, and supporting the various student engagement events.

You will have previous experience in leading and managing a customer facing team, ideally in a student accommodation, hotel or residential environment and be passionate about delivering a ‘first in class’ service. You will have a proven track record of implementing change management and delivering performance improvement.

Strong communication, leadership and problem solving skills will be essential, as well as the ability to be empathetic towards residents.
