The Residential Services team have recently undergone a restructure and we are now in a position to invite applications for the post of Assistant Residential Contracts & Facilities Manager in Commercial Services.

An energetic individual is required to lead a professional and enthusiastic team. This individual will plan and manage the delivery of a wide range of services, both contracted and in house, across the College’s residential buildings, ensuring that our student and visitor experience reflects our Commercial Services mission of Delivering Inspirational Service. 

This role is one of two new Assistant Manager positions which require a range of managerial skills across the key responsibilities of leadership, financial awareness, and planning and organising with good written and verbal communication.  Applicants should be comfortable with the developing digital environment.    

The successful candidate will have previous managerial experience in a facilities/contract management or hotel/residential environment. Integral in establishing a new culture focusing on continuous improvement and harmonised services, you will help lead with a ‘one team’ approach. Good IT and financial skills are necessary to organise data collection for measuring adherence to KPI’s and SLA’s, ultimately informing business decisions.  Equally important aspects are budgetary management, co-ordinated procurement and ensuring effective transition between our core businesses of student residences and seasonal commercial hotel activity.

The positions are full time working 5 out of 7 days a week on a rota based shift pattern, including some weekend and evening working.
