My client is a well-known University with several campuses across London. The university offers an environment in which to work and where staff are dedicated to the development of knowledge and learning. They specialise in a wide range of educational areas including science, law, dentistry and medicine, the university is regarded as one of the top universities in the world.

The university is currently looking to recruit for a Technician within one the campuses based in South London. The Maintenance team is responsible for the operational performance and safety of their buildings always, they have responsibility for liaising with specialist sub-contractors and other building dedicated engineers to maintain high quality service delivery and maximum system uptime. The Technician will be responsible for planned & reactive maintenance across the estate, ensuring adherence to operational, regulatory and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate can be either Electrical or Mechanically biased but must have extensive Maintenance experience within the built environment and relevant formal qualifications. You will need to have a good understanding of Health & Safety along with strong IT skills.
