The University is in an ongoing, exciting period of growth and expansion with 2019 seeing us open two new campuses - Nottingham and Hong Kong - and further expanding our Business school offering both in the UK and in Berlin.  As a result of this growth and our ambitious future growth strategy, we are looking to recruit a Director of Estates.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a standalone post but involves close contact with the management teams of all nine UK campuses (with a GIA of over 60,000sqm), four University satellite campuses and our campus in Hong Kong.  You will be responsible for the delivery of customer centred estates and facilities management services to underpin the University’s strategic and operational priorities. You will take full responsibility for all aspects of operational facilities management in addition to capital investment programmes.  You will be involved in but not limited to, acquisitions and fit out of new campuses, management of the Estate and facilities functions including supplier and financial performance, project delivery and customer satisfaction, KPI reporting and production of the Annual Report. 

We are seeking an exceptional leader with a proven track record of developing and implementing estate and property strategies across comparable large scale, diverse and technically complex portfolios. Positive, driven and a natural collaborator, you will possess excellent communication skills and commercial acumen with the intellectual confidence to succeed in a collegial and collaborative environment.
