RICS Estates Surveyor/ Asset Manager

RICS Estate Surveyor/Asset Manger to undertake Property reviews .6 Months

Busy and progressive local authority with a large Property Services department. Working within a multi disciplinary team that provides valuation and estate management services for the council and external clients.

Key Duties:

Asset Management of a wide variety of Council property:- direct management of offices, industrial units,schools, libraries, museums, residential homes, day centres, depots and other Local Authority type properties.
Your role will involve undertaking property reviews ,looking at clients current business need regarding their property Asset and the direction of travel, location, size, utilisation, operating costs , maintenance backlog, cost of property operation and sustainability and to determine the correct solution inline with corporate strategy.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a senior RICS General practice surveyor with extensive client side and ideally public sector background. Being a leader you will have excellent communication skills and be able to negotiate the more complex acquisitions and disposals of property, be confident to deliver property solutions in line with agreed strategy. You will need to be able to demonstrate a strong track record in delivering successful outcomes and making a difference to the client service
