Site Manager – Hard Services

£40k + Package

Weybridge

I am currently working with a leader in the provision of FM Services to recruit a Site Manager to head up a corporate HQ. This is great opportunity for anyone looking to step up from a supervisor to a manager’s role.

The role:

  • 5 days a week with One Saturday and One Sunday to be worked a month.
  • Responsible for the H&S of the site team on a day to day basis.
  • Work closely with the Senior Management to ensure that the service levels are maintained to a consistently high level.
  • Support engineering team in achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and fully equipped to carry out daily tasks.
  • Responsible for Statutory compliance and SFG20 task completion and record keeping.
  • Plan PPM schedules for site to ensure an even workload in conjunction with the Senior Manager.
  • Responsible for the sign off PPM and work-related documentation on site CAFAM system.
  • Carry out Quality checks on PPM tasks and sub-contractors.
  • Assist with Point of Work Risk Management and RAMS reviews.
  • Responsible for “day to day” Man Management/Team Development.
  • Disciplinary and Conflict management.
  • Assist the senior managers to ensure all clients buildings have accurate asset registers and are labelled accordingly.
  • Responsible for the fast and effective procurement of materials and services.
  • Proactively source additional works and assist administrator to raise quotations
  • Meet with clients and Vinci Facilities team weekly meetings to establish steady lines of communication.
  • Attend operational meetings as required
  • Ensure regular communication with engineering team.
  • Ensure a client facing approach with self as well as team
  • Ensure meter readings are taken each month and issued to the client
  • Contractor Control Responsibilities

The Candidate:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Facilities Supervisor/Manager
  • Strong M&E background
  • Previously held budgetary responsibility
  • Based in 45-minute commute
  • Good Health and Safety background and understanding
  • Previously lead and managed FM operatives/teams
  • Client facing individual, able to demonstrate previous experience of developing and managing client relationships
  • Experience in additional/small project works advantageous
  • Commercially and financially astute
  • Clear and strong communicator with both the client and your team
