FTC Retail Asset Manager – 18 month Contract

My client is a market leading Property business with a significant and varied portfolio.

Role

To design and deliver value enhancing activity for assigned retail assets.

To develop and deliver a Business Development  Strategy to identify and develop retail enhancements along with protection and development of our listed assets

• To support the Asset Management Director in the design of a Retail Strategy, to include lettings, re-gears, rent reviews, disposals etc.
• Where applicable, work with the Commercial Directors team to ensure both business and functional plans are achieved as required
• To meet set targets in respect of rental growth, cost reduction and other KPIs in line with strategy
• To work with Asset Director to manage budgets
• To identify development / asset enhancement and value creation opportunities
• To develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders building on existing networks
• Horizon scanning the market to identify key trends that will enable us to understand where future development opportunities may emerge
• Constantly looking for opportunities to continuously improve what we do and how we operate in the market
• As part of the effective delivery of our Performance Development framework, provide coaching and regular feedback to maximise performance delivery and development, encouraging collaboration and empowerment
• Ensure effective communication that enables engagement and enablement
• Maintain knowledge and adhere to relevant Group Policies and Procedures, Legislation and Regulations
• Develop and ensure safe working practices

What we’re looking for:

• To succeed in this challenging role, you will possess a relevant property qualification and have experience of managing a retail assets.
• Commercially aware, you will be confident dealing with a wide range of people, possess excellent communication skills, a cool head and have the ability to manage multiple properties.
