We are Looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to be a part of a forward thinking and leading Facilities Service Provider. You will be managing a team of 8 cleaning operatives for a school in Alton. Your contracted hours will be from 17:30 - 21:30.

Client Details

The client is large Facilities Company, covering the length and breath of the UK within the real estate and property sector. Due to the number of contracts and the demand for new staff, they are looking to add a Senior Cleaning Supervisor to their team in Alton, Hampshire.

Description

As the Cleaning Supervisor your responsibilities include:

  • To implement and promote all company policies & procedures

  • To ensure the safety & welfare of staff at all times

  • To ensure that customer complaints or queries are reported to the operations manager and that remedial action, where required, is undertaken as directed.

  • To ensure staff maintain a smart appearance and conform to dress code at all times.

  • Ensure all operational services and agreed contract objectives are consistently delivered on time and in accordance to the contract requirements

  • To ensure compliance with all HR, H&S legislation & safe working practices.

  • Ensure correct staffing levels are maintained on sites at all times and be prepared to have a hands-on approach with regard to unforeseen/unplanned absences.

  • Ensure sufficient cleaning equipment, consumables & materials are available to staff at all times & conduct regular performance reviews with third party suppliers operating across your contracts

  • To undertake any other duties as directed by the area manager

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience of supervising a cleaning maintenance team is essential
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with professional demeanour
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills
  • Competent IT Skills- use of MS Word and Excel
  • Understanding of COSHH

An enhanced DBS is desired but not essential.

Job Offer

For the candidate, you will receive a competitive rate of £11ph paid weekly along with the opportunity to be taken on permanent. As the hours are from 17:30 to 21:30 will also have the flexibility to have your days free or the option to work another position before your shift.
