The Area Cleaning Manager will be responsible for up to 15 large sites focusing on smooth running of the cleaning contracts. This position will be mobile covering the South West and South Wales Region. The ideal location is along the M4 motorway in the Bristol area. This position is permanent and very stable due to working in the education sector.

Description

The duties of the Area Cleaning Manager:

  • Meet with clients and make sure the operation runs smoothly- including rotas, staffing levels, recruitment and HR issues, conducting audits and ordering equipment and supplies.
  • You will also be responsible for the input of wages weekly.
  • You will be travelling around multiple sites and be accountable for your portfolio.
  • Due to the volume of sites and direct reports you will need to have excellent time management skills coupled with the ability to converse at all levels.
  • Have proven track record in management.
  • Have strong financial acumen and a commercial outlook, you will be used to providing exceptional service and be ready to adapt to customer`s changing requirements.
  • SLA`s and manage KPI`s.
  • Exceptional people management skills to be able to lead, motivate and develop teams.
  • The role is based on the road around sites (excellent time management).
  • Carry out performance and quality audits, producing regular reports and be up to date with current H & S legislation and completing payroll.

Profile

The Area Cleaning Manager will:

Be based ideally within 10 miles of Bristol to access the South West and South Wales regions

BIC`s and IOSHH or equivalent qualification is favourable

Proven track record with a Facilities Management provider focusing on soft services/cleaning contracts.

Proven track record working on Education and training contracts.

Enhanced DBS cleared

Job Offer

£26,000 - £30,000 base salary

Vehicle, phone and laptop (all equipment will be provided) or car allowance

Pension and Holiday days are statutory
