Our client is looking for a Maintenance Technician with a Mechanical bias and able to work in commercial spaces, plant rooms carrying out PPM and reactive works across the Devon region, Ideally be based in or near Exeter. Along with working on water pumps, flushing taps, Heating systems, completing fault find/route cause analysis.

Description

The Maintenance Technician (Plumber) will be responsible for day to day duties such as:

Completing planned and reactive maintenance schedules in commercial spaces & plant rooms across Devon (Exeter base)

Carrying out works on Water pumps, flushing taps and heating systems

Fault Finding and route cause analysis

Water Hygiene - along with all risk assessments and audits across a number of sites.

Working with other trades to complete works (Fabric, Electrical and Mechanical)

Profile

The Maintenance Technician (Plumber) will ideally be based in Exeter or within 15 miles.

You will require a NVQ level 2 in Plumbing and heating ideally (Or equal to), Air conditioning and refrigeration engineers are welcome to apply - Must be confident/capable with mechanical property maintenance in medium to large size property.

Proven track record carrying out a range of multi skilled maintenance across commercial properties, plant rooms is essential. You will have a proven track record in a similar trade and services position, working in commercial property environment.

Previous exposure working in a hospital, school or local government environment would be beneficial, general building and construction backgrounds considered with right qualifications.

Full clean driving licence, vehicle will be provided along with fuel card

This is a fixed term contract for 6 months paid by the client, monthly salary of between £30,000 - £32,000.

Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week

Some Overtime available.

6 months work guaranteed.
