You will be responsible for taking the lead on all aspects of Health & Safety across a busy and varied estate for this West Midlands based charity. As well as leading on Health & Safety, you will also work very closely with the Head of Facilities to support on the delivery of FM services.

Our client is a charity based out of the West Midlands.
Description
Taking the lead on all aspects of Health & Safety, you will be responsible for ensuring that the estate is fully compliant with regards to Health & Safety legislation. This will involve mitigating the risk across the estate and ensuring that the relevant policies and protocols are in place whilst promoting a positive health& safety culture throughout the organisation. You will also support the Head of FM in the delivery of FM services.
Typical day to day tasks will include:
- Providing strategic Health & Safety advice
- Monitoring and ensuring that the necessary HSE policies are in place
- Carrying out statutory checks across the estate
- Carrying out risk assessments of both equipment and operational activities
- Ensuring that all staff are trained in regards to HSE policies
- Monitor and manage environmental related activities
- Support the Head of FM to deliver FM services via both in house staff and third party contracts
Profile
To be considered for this role you must have 2 years prior experience in a Health & Safety role and you must also hold a NEBOSH qualification and hold a driving license with access to your own car.

Job Offer
A salary of £35,000 - £38,000 is on offer DOE.
