Are you a passionate Facilities Coordinator seeking a new challenge? We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to work with and support our Fleet & Facilities team, specifically dedicated to our offices across the North & Midlands.

Who are we?

Countryside operates nationally across 13 existing regions and two timber frame factories, soon to be 16 regions and 3 timber frame factories! Right now, as part of this growth, we are expanding our teams across the Group, and are seeking a Facilities Coordinator to Oversee and manage the office facilities on a day-to-day basis for our "Northern" offices

Purpose of the Role/Objective

To provide facilities support for the offices at:

  • Leeds
  • Leicester
  • Solihull
  • Warrington
  • Wolverhampton
  • Milton Keynes*

Main Responsibilities of the Role

  • Oversee and manage the office facilities on a day-to-day basis for the "Northern" offices
  • Work closely with office contacts, heads of departments, HR business partners to ensure our offices are fit for purpose
  • Work with H&S and Building Management to ensure safe working environment
  • Ensure security of offices – in and out of hours
  • Coordinate Facilities Maintenance providers to ensure the effective resolution of reactive maintenance issues and the completion of pre-planned works
  • Manage local works/contractors (e.g. Small projects, cleaning, waste)
  • Manage staff movements and all associated works (e.g. IT/Security/H&S)
  • Keep office floorplans updated
  • Ensure that activity-based workspaces are being optimized
  • Work closely with the Contracts Coordinator to ensure overall compliance
  • Support the Facilities Manager and Head of Facilities & Fleet as required

Knowledge and Skills Required to be successful in the Role

  • Passionate about customer service, facilities and housebuilding.
  • Ability to work on your own and be part of a team
  • Effective communicator with previous experience liaising with stakeholders of all levels.
  • Keen to develop yourself professionally, and undergo appropriate training.
  • Eagerness to be involved in multiple projects and assist the team with ongoing larger scale projects.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office packages
