Head of Health, Safety and Environment

Our client is a fantastically successful FM service provider that provides hard services to its clients on a national basis. It has a sizable portfolio of clients that fall within the retail sector, this is their niche.  Due to recent growth and reviewing its senior management structure, it has created a new role for a Head of Health, Safety and Environment.

As the Head of Health, Safety and Environment you will report into the Group Head of HSE and take ownership for all H&S matters for the FM part of the business. You will also oversee a small team of Health, Safety and Environment Managers.

The successful Head of Health, Safety and Environment will be responsible for creating and leading the implementation of a world class health and safety strategy.  The Head of Health, Safety and Environment will be expected to successfully influence and challenge senior stakeholders, to develop a culture of true ownership and accountability at all levels, both internally and externally.

In addition, the Head of Health, Safety, and environment will act as ambassador for all HSE matters, with both existing and potential new clients, supporting the strategy of profitable business growth. 

This is a critical role within our client’s senior leadership team and the successful applicant must have a proven track record of operating at a senior level, working on a national basis across national portfolios and a good understanding of FM.
