Technical Services Manager
Our client is a specialist Maintenance Service Provider that has been in business for over 260 years and boasts some iconic clients and buildings across London and the South East. It is currently looking to hire a Technical Services Manager to run the Maintenance workstream which runs at circa £5m turnover.
As the Technical Services Manager, you will report into the Board of Directors of the company and have 6 direct reports made up of 5 Contract Managers and 1 Operations Manager, and an overall Maintenance Team of circa 20 Engineers (Mobile & Static). The successful Technical Services Manager will have overall responsibility for the effective running of the department and its alignment with the whole business.
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in a similar role and be a strong people manager and team leader, someone who is able to lead and inspire, improve the culture within the Maintenance department and be instrumental in growing the department.
The successful Technical Services Manager will be an integral part of the overall business and a senior leader. You must have strong commercial awareness, be strategic and able to make key business decisions. In addition, you must be a team player and have strong organisational skills.
Our client is offering:
- £65,000 - £75,000 plus travel costs to be negotiated as part of the package.
