Looking for a rewarding role in which you can deliver an effective, highly responsive and proactive Estates and Facilities (E&F) service? Then read on…

With the Filton Blood Centre producing a major part of the country’s blood supply, you’ll manage the provision of a wide range of hard and soft E&F services at the Blood Centre and its satellite premises contributing to the strategic development of the estate, ensuring that the continuous operation of the facility and services to hospitals and patients are maintained. It’s an excellent opportunity to motivate, develop and support the E&F team, including managers, admin/reception, technicians and support services staff.

Your experience in financial management and budget control, managing contractors, knowledge and implementation of Health & Safety regulations, combined with your excellent communication skills will allow you to lead and manage all aspects of E&F as well as communicate complex technical issues to staff and managers at all levels.

A professional qualification or degree in a Building Services or Facilities Management discipline or equivalent experience is required, further postgraduate qualifications in Facilities Management or a related subject would be an advantage, as would membership of a professional Facilities Management body.

This is an excellent opportunity to take your management skills to the next level, and in doing so enabling people in need to benefit from life-saving operations and treatments. Put simply, a chance to improve patients’ lives - and yours.
