The Head of Operations will be responsible for all operational activity relating to the delivery of services to our client's local authority client base. This will include the day to day management of the delivery team who are responsible for delivering environmental services to local authorities.

Description

The Head of Operations will oversee all day to day operational activity and be tasked with continuing to take the company on an upward trajectory of exciting growth by winning new contracts with new clients.

Responsibilities for the Head of Operations will include:

• Line management of the Area Managers, Mobile Team Leaders and Head Office Support Team
• Ensuring that existing clients are receiving a high calibre of service in line with contractual agreements
• Attending client meetings to review and report on operational activity
• Budget planning and management that is effective and robust
• Overseeing and promoting a positive health & safety culture that covers all areas of the business
• Mentoring and developing staff
• Identifying areas of growth and tendering for new contracts when opportunities are presented to do so

Profile

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of working withing an Ops Management based role where services are being delivered to a local government (or similar) client base. It is essential to have delivered services to a public sector based client or to have worked for a public sector body in a management based position.

The role is servicing a national client base and will therefore require national travel from time to time.

Applicants will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and experience and be able to demonstrate an ability to win new contracts.

Job Offer

A salary of £45,000 - £60,000 (dependant on experience) plus car allowance is on offer.
