Hours:                         Full Time; Monday – Friday, 10am – 6pm

The Architectural Association was founded in 1847, opening as a day school in 1901. The academic and professional programmes of study at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, up to and including doctoral level, are validated by external professional and academic bodies.

Role Overview:

• Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of buildings to ensure that they meet health and safety standards and the legal requirements.
• Responsible for the operational aspects of the school and the management and interaction with external contractors and maintenance teams.
• Responsible for making sure that the buildings and their services meet the needs of the people that study and work in them.
• Ensure the delivery and maintenance of a safe, secure and suitable environment for all students, staff, contractors and visitors to the school.
• Responsible for managing any refurbishments, renovations and office moves to make sure they all run smoothly and according to plan.
• Responsible for project managing small works, including negotiation of contracts and tenders, and ensuring best value at all times. Adhering to budgets and compliance with COM regulations.

Applicants will be expected to work on-site with Covid safety measures in place. The AA School offers free daily on-site Covid testing for anyone entering the AA School premises.
