We are looking for an exceptional and inspirational Director of Estates and Facilities to join our team at NHS Croydon.

NHS Croydon is an alignment between Croydon Health Services NHS Trust and the Croydon borough of South West London (SWL) CCG. Since 2019, a joint executive team has been in place across the two organisations. Croydon borough of SWL CCG is responsible for securing the provision of primary care, mental health, community and acute health services for the 380,000 population in Croydon. Croydon Health Services is a busy, exciting and diverse place to work. As an integrated Trust responsible for the health of the people living in London's largest borough, high quality, safe care is one of the core pillars that shapes everything we do in Croydon. Our ambition is to provide excellent care for all and help people in Croydon live healthier lives. We want local people to feel confident in our care, and for our workforce of 3,600 to feel proud to work here.

The Director of Estates and Facilities will provide senior operational leadership to the Trust’s estates infrastructure and facilities services across the organisation and play a key and visible role within our senior management team. In addition, the post holder will be responsible for the effective delivery of all the Trust's estates and facilities services and lead the development and delivery of our strategy across Croydon Place, including Primary Care estate, and in conjunction with the South West London Integrated Care System.

This is a significant opportunity to play a key leadership role in an ambitious Trust alongside a committed and able leadership team, so we are seeking an estates and facilities expert with proven experience of managing complexity and working at a senior level. You will be a values-driven and politically astute leader committed to partnership working and passionate about the equality, diversity and inclusion agenda.

We strongly encourage applications from all sections of the community, particularly from under-represented groups, including disabled people and members of our black, Asian and minority ethnic communities to improve the diversity of experience at the board.

For a confidential conversation about this role or to request the candidate information pack, please contact Brendan Davies at our executive search partner, Hunter Healthcare, at bdavies@hunter-healthcare.com or on 07874857833.

The closing date for this post is 26 April 2021.
