Boden Group are working with a major Facilities Management business to recruit a QSHE Advisor for one of their growing contracts. You’ll be providing guidance in all QSHE matters across both the Facilities Management and Projects aspects of the contract.

This is a brand-new position so it’s a really exciting time to join the business and develop your career. You’ll be an experienced Health and Safety professional with a background in Facilities Management, CDM and Project works. You’ll need to have a NEBOSH certificate or equivalent, and any further qualifications would be beneficial.
  
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing guidance on all QSHE matters to the Operations team, with a focus on project activity across the contract.
  • Work with the QSHE Manager to improve QSHE standards across the contract.
  • Intervening on any unsafe activities, resolving and reporting on these in a timely fashion.
  • Keeping the team, colleagues and stakeholders informed on any QSHE matters, including changes to current legislation or company standards.
  • Develop and roll out a schedule of risk assessments and safe working systems for all sites across the contract.
  • Carrying out inspections for all project works and ensuring they are compliant with QSHE regulations.
  • Ensuring all staff are trained to necessary QSHE requirements, and coaching employees on relevant inductions and other training programmes.
  • Delivering QSHE briefings and presentations to colleagues and stakeholders when required.
  • Representing the business and upholding their standards when dealing with clients and other stakeholders.

  
  
What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Previous experience in a QSHE role, with a track record of working in the Facilities, CDM and projects sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of current Health and Safety and CDM regulations.
  • NEBOSH certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Confident and enthusiastic about delivering an excellent level of QSHE standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel nationally.
  • Detail-oriented approach.
