A great opportunity has become available in Dublin for a Health and Safety Manager to join a significant manufacturing account working for one of UK and Irelands largest FM Providers.

I am recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager who is passionate about all aspects of QHSE and is enthusiastic about ensuring all standards are reached and exceeded. You need to be an excellent communicator as you will be the point of contact for all QHSE requirements on site. If you have a proven track record in a similar role and have recognised H&S qualifications, then this could be a fantastic opportunity for you.

Job Description:

To do this job you will need be able to:

• Using the in-house system to maintain corporate certification to ISO 9001; ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001.
• Regularly update and manage the Risk Register
• Regular reporting on the progress of all QHSE Objectives.
• Provide leadership across all supply chains and compliance while maintaining all QHSE Standards
• Create and manage a communication plan for all QSE activities and any legislation changes.
• Ensure that all activities have the appropriate amount of time and resources to complete ensuring the business’s compliance
• Create a culture around QHSE throughout the site with effective implementation of policy and procedures
• Produce a plan to ensure that all Critical Performance Indicators and Key Performance Indicators are achieved.
• Manage and record all near misses and lost time incidents, ensuring there is follow up actions in place
• Manage all action plans in place after safeguard inspections/Audits are completed
• Update and Manage all Health and Safety Documentation within agreed timelines.

Candidate Profile:

• You will have a substantial Management Experience
• You are Health and Safety Qualified up to NVQ Level 6 or equivalent
• You will need to be IOSH Chartered Qualified or working towards it
• Have a strong Knowledge of Irelands QHSE Legislation
• You will need to have excellent client relationship management experience.
• Facilities Management and Business operations are key for this role so you will need to have excellent experience of this.
• If you have experience of developing and implementing QHSE Systems that would be very beneficial
• You will need to be an excellent leader and be able to communicate to all levels of staff.
• You will need to be able to prioritize and work to tight deadlines that are set by yourself and prescribed to you.
