Facilities Manager

Your new company

Our customer is a well-respected global FM business who has strong presence across the public and private sectors both in the UK and Globally. They are now recruiting a TFM manager for a new contract based in Somerset.

Your new role

They are now looking for an experienced TFM Facilities Manager to lead a large single site within the manufacturing sector. The key day to day duties will include;

• Management of the maintenance and operations services for the site
• Day to day management of the on-site team for maintenance, cleaning and waste services
• Procurement and management of specialist sub-contractors
• Compliance management for the site including conducting regular audits
• Ensure that delivery is met within required standards
• Overseeing the CAFM system and ensure jobs are allocated to the team
• Building key relationships on the site

What you'll need to succeed

You will have an IFM or engineering background either client side or with an FM provider. Strong team leadership is essential for the role and an understanding of the manufacturing/industrial sector would also be an advantage. IOSH is also important for the role.
