We are recruiting a new Director of Estates and Facilities at the University of East Anglia to further develop our strategy for maintenance and life-cycle renewal of the campus. You will be a critical leader in the delivery of the Campus Development Programme (CDP) and will work closely with the Chief Resource Officer and others to ensure that it is delivered to time and budget.

Ensuring close and integrated working across the University, you will lead our Estates and Facilities Division to manage all aspects of the built environment, security and cleaning services, transport, space management, projects and development services (including engineering and utilities). You will be pivotal in ensuring that students and staff are fully engaged in the CDP and that the plan is led in a highly stakeholder focussed manner.

With a strong track record of delivering major programmes of work to completion, you will have significant experience of strategic project planning, implementation and delivery. You will also have a substantial track record of leading both large-scale sustainable capital development programmes and significant on-going operations across a diverse and technically complex estate portfolio.

This full time post is available from 1 January 2022 (potentially sooner) on an indefinite basis.
