We are a newly merged Trust comprising University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust and Weston Area Health NHS Trust. Based across our two stunning locations; the vibrant and culturally diverse city of Bristol and the beautiful seaside town of Weston-Super-Mare, we have a workforce of over 13,000, over 100 different clinical services across 10 different sites, serving a core population of more than 500,000 people.

We are looking for an exceptional and inspirational Director of Estates and Facilities to provide senior leadership to the Trust’s estates infrastructure, facilities services, capital investment programme and sustainability ambitions.

You will be a highly visible member of the Trust’s senior leadership team, making an active contribution to the running of the Trust, advancing quality solutions which enable the cost effective delivery of health services, and supporting the growth of our specialist hospital services as a leading healthcare provider in the South West.

You will be an estates and facilities expert with proven experience of managing complexity in a large organisation. You will be the senior lead for related risk management and statutory compliance responsibilities for the Trust, providing Board assurance on all such matters. You will be responsible for ensuring patients and visitors are treated in the safest possible environment and that staff have the optimal conditions in which to deliver care to patients and their families.

You will also play a big part with our health and care partners across the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care System to ensure services are always improving.
